Brave living history enthusiasts will put aside 21st century comforts for six days – and go back 3,500 years at Flag Fen Archaeology Park in Peterborough.
From 28 May to 2 June Flag Fen’s team of archaeologists will live in a roundhouse, cooking over an open fire-pit and making everything by hand in a historical experiment to recreate the Bronze Age.
They will also be set daily challenges involving different ancient crafts and technology, such as casting bronze swords and making prehistoric clothes.
