As professional archaeologists we are committed to communicating the results of our archaeological fieldwork to as wide an audience as possible. The recovery of evidence of past human activities by archaeological excavation is just the beginning: it requires analysis and publication. It is part of our responsibility to share our results so that as many different communities as possible can access our information and better understand the past.

In order to manage the increasing demand from funders, clients, the archaeological community in general, and other interested parties, for a faster return and ease of access to ours, and others work, GUARD Archaeology have established their own online archaeological journal, Archaeology Reports Online.
