Hosted by the IfA Research and Impact group, this day conference aims to draw together a variety of experiences of working on some of the most exciting current collaborative projects and to discuss how to maximise the outputs and impact of such projects. There will be two themed sessions, each with presentations from invited speakers, followed by a practical discussion session drawing out issues identified in the preceding papers and suggesting ways forward. The intention is to open up debate and to involve as many commercial archaeologists, consultants, students and academics in this discussion as possible. The discussion sessions will also provide an opportunity to meet individuals in the different archaeological sectors and hopefully to foster new partnerships for collaboration.
For more information, including agenda, booking, cost etc please visit the IfA website:

Thanks to the support of sponsors, the conference can offer up to three travel bursaries specifically aimed at commercial archaeologists. To apply, please contact the RIG by emailing Lianne Birney (lianne.birney@archaeologists.net) giving your affiliation and a short statement explaining why you would like to attend.
