In February 2016, Headland Archaeology were proud to achieve ISO 9001:2008 certification. This international certification recognises that they operate a Quality Management System of the highest standard and have the appropriate quality policies, processes and procedures in place. Moreover, the certification recognises a commitment to continuous improvement in all aspects of work.
A company spokesperson said;
“We achieved the certification following a period of review and improvement of all of our existing quality management procedures. We then proceeded to implement the revised system which sets measurable objectives for the company, records customer satisfaction as well as non-conformances and preventative actions. We believe the certification will result in time and cost savings for the company as well as highlight our focus on excellent client service.”
This is an important step forward for any company – as the strictly managed certification is not given lightly nor attained by anything other than hard work and true commitment by the company.
Well done Headland and the other few companies that have gained ISO 9001:2008 certification.
