Placement Students in Sheffield

After having two work placement students at the Wessex Archaeology Sheffield office over the summer – Lewis Greenway and Jack Malloy, who both made valuable contributions to a number of projects – Wessex will be taking on another group of four students between now and February 2015.

Three of these will be coming from the University of Sheffield, whilst one will be from Ridgewood School, Doncaster.

All the placement students will be involved in a range of commercial archaeological experiences including field excavation and recording, finds processing, geophysical survey, and general work within the heritage sector.

Wessex Archaeology are looking forward to meeting and working with these new placements, but it does not stop there!
