TThe annual conference usually comprises one day of lectures on local pipemakers and / or recent research and the second day with a field trip to visit local sites of pipemaking or historic interest. There are usually displays of material for viewing and articles / offprints for sale as well as a conference dinner where delegates can socialise and exchange information.
 
The 29th annual SCPR conference is to be held at the United Church Hall, Dorchester, Dorset on Saturday 21st September. On Sunday 22nd we are hoping to arrange a guided tour.
