unit "nowhere does it say how self employed archaeologists are supposed to get on with other archaeologists."
Code of conduct: "The member shall adhere to high standards of ethical and responsible behaviour in the conduct of archaeological affairs."
I think IfA would consider interacting with other archaeologists to be covered by this principle.

The question is, does it take into account interacting with Unit?

Personally, I try to interact with other archaeologists (and indeed other people) in accordance with the moral framework outlined in Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure - 'Be Excellent To Each Other'

[/SIZE]Thanks for that. So you are saying that two or more self employed archaeologists can work on the same project one subcontracting to the other or others where by each being a sole responsible archaeologist following the principles establishes without doubt that they are an archaeologist for tax purposes.
Wouldn?t it be better if it said members rather than member and in my mind even better would be that it said archaeologists on the grounds that this would be easier to explain to the tax authorities and to other members of this forum.
