I hope your friend continues to improve Wax:face-approve: - depression is a very destructive thing and hats off to him/her for seeking treatment! I believe it is an illness that can't be just "coped with " as many, less tolerant folk, would recommend.

Wax, I like the way you think. Today, I've managed several small things, along with a Reese's Nutrageous chocolate bar, half a Kit Kat, three chocolate digestives and a bakewell slice. I'm relieved that I didn't have more tasks to do because I couldn't stand the pace.
Bucket of Bailey's would do nicely.

If you have managed to survive as an archaeologist in 2011 which must have been one of the worse years ever for archaeology. I think you deserve several crates of the drink of your choice. Don't give it all up just yet, go temping and keep applying for the archaeology posts. Go freelance and use all your skill sets. Where there is a will there is a way.
The bar though totally inane is still a beacon (bacon) of sanity in a totally f...... Up world

Sweet FA to do to day so I'm opening the bar early. It's Friday after all and I have switched on the frier for the chips and deep fried Mars Bars.

Will be joining Deadly in drinking to oblivion, Found some not quite rancid cream in the fridge and half a bottle of whiskey. Gaelic coffees all round and more bacon of sanity with red and brown sauce. Not desperate enough for deep fried Mars bars (yet)
