One of those random thoughts, can you make alcohol from cheese? Seem to remember something about fermented mares' milk:face-huh:

Erm...I am sure someone who is a home brewer will put me right but I don't think the cheese making process and fermenting are the same thing.
And I'm not sure you can ferment milk???? Happy to be wrong, but you'd be on your own. But I will lend you my mare to experiment with though...if you're feeling brave...and encased in armour}
And - any excuse - here she is...31 year's young...

Fermented mares' milk. Think you can do it with a yak's output as well.
Wonder how that'd taste with a vodka top...?

Thanks for the offer of your mare Mr D but having just seen the description of the milking process " The milker stands on one knee, with a pail propped on the other steadied by a string tied to one arm. One arm is wrapped behind the mare's rear leg and the other in front" I think my contortionist days are over and how do you " stand on one knee"?
OOH I am now a Grand BAJerite drinks all round

Hello everyone. I thought I would just take a break from lamentation at the other end of the hut to grab a quick pint on this fine Sunday eve. Mine's an Exmoor Gold if it's going. A bit specific I know, but tis a fine brew. Otherwise a Hobgoblin would be grand, but NOT in a can! Sorry, but to see such a marvelous beverage treading the path of Special Brew is a sad thing indeed. Cheers anyway!
