Will be waiting to hear from Diggers Forum - who are currently getting some fire in them... So hopefully soon. I would prefer to go to them with a positive rather than just a toungue lashing about what the hell they actually do... and when they do... what the hell they are doing. recently heard how they helped in redundancy, in a most bizarre way.

I agree with Geli, also on a road scheme where some people for one unit are having to find and pay for their own accomodation and also miss out on subs, whereas another group from a different unit is having their accomodation provided and paid for.

Tis interesting that a job can have differential pay and conditions for staff/ ... I already know of this one... and appreciate the non-naming - it would be interesting to see what would happen if the Union was brought in... PROSPECT members anyone?

WYAS are after a Site Supervisor (remember you can keep an eye on jobs from here: just look in the Jobs Forum on this site - click Forums and scroll down a bit) and lo... they are providing the following;

Good on them.... shows what can be done.. and the wages? ?19,621 to ?21,519 (by annual progression).
Perhaps BAJR should conduct a survey of comapnies to see if they provide accommodation, travel, subsistence etc... with an option for the company to refuse to reply. :face-huh:

Well it may sound unfair but if it's the job I am thinking of then it's the Revenue that are setting the rules.
It all depends on whether its the site or the unit offices are your base for contract purposes.....
