16% seems high, but what about the possibility that the IFA may not be taking polls from companies not registered with them and more-over the number of diggers that are not IFA members. The latter, i fear, are the actual and real majority. On occasion the IFA could only represent the vocal minority and the real figure for unemployed archaeologists could be much higher.

I can't remember..... Was the 16% redundancies, layoffs or based on the number of people working vs the same last year?
And was the 16% on top of the losses last year or did they include them?
