?500 a month for expenses in one of the most senior jobs in heritage in Britain, frankly he should be disgusted it is so little.

My girlfriend's work colleague has just received a letter from his employer (a govt department) citing gross misconduct. This is due to him claiming for 15 miles for his trip home, when the RAC website states that the actual distance is 14.7 miles. Total cost of supposed swindle- ?31.
