Pre-Construct Archaeology, AOC Archaeology, and Wessex Archaeology all have offices in London with field crew. There are some other smaller ones, and others work in London pretty frequently, like Oxford, Archaeological Solutions, Essex and Thames Valley Archaeological Services, and may have something around or coming up in the south east. I haven't checked, but I assume that all of the above would be in BAJR's who's who section.

Judy-one of the things that we all find depressing is the fact that not all units have the time to reply to every application.The fact that you have`nt received a response does`nt automatically mean "no", it can often mean "nothing available at the minute".Units often store applications until projects come up-when they grab a handfull from the top.Keep sending c.v-by hard copy/e-mail and whatever happens, put sweet voice on and phone them.Monthly/weekly/daily! We know what it`s like mate-sit tight, you only need that first shot.....
