Copper Dragon is a brewery in Skipton. Never tried it myself but these guys on a backpacker forum are raving about it (they might be Australian though).


Oooh, just noticed that is my 100th post, making me a Project Manager! How appropriate that it is on the subject of beer - ha ha five o'clock time to have one!

Australians or not, it's a most superb range of beers! Especially if downed on a pub-crawl in Skipton! I think its only just getting out into the wider country, but I'd recommend it!

There are some great mail order places for real ale, such as beer-ritz. They sell Copper Dragon, which I've not tried but will pick up a bottle when I'm in one of their retail outlets that happens to be about 2 miles from home !

I would recommend anything by Daleside (based in Starbeck near Harrogate) but especially Morocco Ale and Ripon Jewel.
