Here is a teaser! Quote:quote:Have you spotted an interview with a celebrity who says they'd rather be an Now... the coffers of the Digger are bare - areyou going to say you will help? or actually help! come on..... everyone send a quid ! a bleedin quid! [:0] Another day another WSI? Online Digger - deepdigger - 13th April 2006 On its way sire! deep Online Digger - getatrowel - 14th April 2006 The Digger site is well built and the text colours/contrasts are great. I would think that people who are struggling to see the colours have their monitor settings too bright/wrong contrast. I'm not hugely computer literate tho, so there might be something I'm missing. "a pound of shelled peanuts was handsome pay by any apes standards" Pratchett 1998 Online Digger - BAJR Host - 16th April 2006 Right click on the main 'desktop' this will bring up a box, the bottom one saying properties click that and you can enter the wonderful world of you preferences. I would choose SETTINGS >> ADVANCED button. If you have a laptop then you often have a button that lets you access the 'video card' or screen preferences. One useful thing to do to calibrate a screen.... this is very useful if you take photos... as often the screen image bears no relation to the final print!.... Take a photo of your hand... store it on your computer and then bring up the image on the screen... then holding your own hand up against the screen use the brightness and contrast to get a perfect match. I do understand where people are coming from, the reason behind the 'softening' was to a) keep up with the latest trends and b) make it easier on the eyes. I have upped the greyscale of the text to 80% from 60%... I could of course have a dual stylesheet so that you choose which version to read.... (oh oh... I am starting to speak in techno babble) Another day another WSI? Online Digger - the invisible man - 23rd April 2006 The latest Digger is perfectly readable, albeit fainter than normal, but not uncomfortably so. Thanks very much for sorting it, it's appreciated.
