The 1884 Disused Burial grounds legislation defines a burial ground as 'any churchyard, cemetery or other ground, whether consecrated or not, which has been at any time set apart for the purpose of interment; any place that burials have taken place' which means I think any place where human remains have been purposely interred of any date.

The 7th century date in the EH/CofE document I guess refers to the earliest date that the CofE can claim existence and is not an archaeological TAQ/TPQ...
