Time Team is back - Odinn - 15th April 2010 Any news on when the special for this series will be aired? Time Team is back - Drunky - 15th April 2010 The food was really good last year, the only problem is i never feel like mattocking after a 4 course lunch Time Team is back - Dinosaur - 16th April 2010 You were lucky, one I worked on the first door-step salmon butties came round at 9.30am! Spent the rest of the morning trying to get in the right frame to do justice to the 5 course lunch....couldn't believe we got paid as well Time Team is back - Dirty Boy - 16th April 2010 The food is absolutely fabulous, and I've never felt the archaeology has suffered due to the TV format. Time Team is back - Dirty Boy - 16th April 2010 Time Team Drinking Game: http://www.assemblage.group.shef.ac.uk/4/4drink.html It's pretty similar to what I remember, although seeing anyone recording = down a bottle of whisky } Time Team is back - Dinosaur - 16th April 2010 Oxbeast Wrote:My favourite ones are the ones where Stewart Ainsworth solves everything/changes everyone's previous interpretations/brings up a load of more interesting research questions with landscape analysis. How come the rest of us are supposed to have done all that kind of stuff before knocking up the WSI for the evaluation trenching in the wrong place? Time Team is back - Jack - 16th April 2010 Hmm, yeah. not supposed to dig until you've sorted out what question your dig is going to answer. Preservation in situ being the modern mandate. Time Team is back - Dinosaur - 16th April 2010 Makes for dead boring reports! :face-crying: Always good finding something spectacular though, after demonstrating conclusively in advance that there's nothing there (sorry, clients!) } Time Team is back - Jack - 19th April 2010 } I'm fond of doing that too! The Holderness plain in east yorks and South Yorkshire are great places to dig. |
