The future for RAE's - YellowMike - 30th April 2010 I would suggest that you read the guidaance for the REF. as always it comes down to how you interpret those guides, but ultimately, the words are there in black and white. I would suggest however that, if you consider REF as irrelevant to the plastic hat archaeologist, then that would be an exemplar example of a sector of the profession burying its head in the sand to weather a storm, as opposed to providing that innovation. we must get past, those previous issues of sectorised mud slinging. we need to work together, or we could potentially face loosing entire interest groups and foundations that underpin the industry as a whole.
