Welfare facilities II - troll - 20th May 2006 Meet the ancestors? Plenty of lifting there Snipey comrade! Seems to me that rules are bent when we feel like it.More stroppy osteo`s on sites please! ![]() ..knowledge without action is insanity and action without knowledge is vanity..(imam ghazali,ayyuhal-walad) Welfare facilities II - BAJR Host - 20th May 2006 To bring this to an end (at least for this case) Glass on top of wall http://www.bajr.org/graphics/picglass.jpg wall further along: http://www.bajr.org/graphics/picwall.jpg so lets hear the end of it. ![]() Mattock is indeed right that a well presented report it was too... Photos, times, dates, reports cross referenced.. unfortunately the reality was not what was reported... which may of course be beacuse you were a new graduate, and did not know the full story. But now you do... so perhaps time to move on. Quote:quote:Not wishing to suggest a coverup.... but maybe it is just concidence, with Mr hosty recently applying for a MIFA, and subject of complaint being an RAO..... What exactly are you suggesting then. Other people have made comments about sites as well... but they did not start by accusing BAJR of not taking reports seriously or Quote:quote: The work was completed by an RAO. Photos were taken, and case duely reported. However, it is seems that these breaches were/are not serious enough for action to be taken. It seems that health/safety/welfare of staff does not warrent protection!! You have done nothing but claim that a site you reported was a serious breach.. when presented with evidence you have still maintained that it was so... You are making a serious issue a personal issue - and are now inferring that somehow becasue I became a MIFA in February, this was linked to an event that took place over a year ago? Chill Mattock... you are walking a thin line Another day another WSI? Welfare facilities II - Guest - 20th May 2006 Quote:quote:Originally posted by Donald MacBrainNo never worked for the unit in question. My parents live in the town in question (just behind site in question). I was visiting them between sites..... Welfare facilities II - Donald MacBrain - 20th May 2006 So, you visit your parents, see a cemetery clearance over the wall and decide to play Miss Marple. You take notes and clandestine photos then send a report to BAJR. BAJR investigate more thoroughly than you could ever hope to and find there is no case to answer. However, you think you know better? If you are not going to accept BAJR's findings, why did you send the report in the first place? You are making yourself look ridiculous! This all smacks of attention seeking behaviour on your part. Train Chaser Welfare facilities II - BAJR Host - 20th May 2006 MAttockman has now contacted me off list.. and will not post anymore. I think we should now file this and start again I thank those who support BAJR. At least you got a glimpse of just what I do in the background normally... I still do.. on a weekly basis.. but now I also have the IFA to help me,and I help the IFA. Together we can sort things out.. put an end to muppetry on one hand, and explain when things look bad, but there are good reasons (or at least real reasons) behind it Sonow you know how BAJR hotline works ... use it... but don't abuse it.. } ![]() Another day another WSI? Welfare facilities II - drpeterwardle - 21st May 2006 Agree with this - but for the avoidance of doubt I assume you mean mattockhead will not be posting on this thread. Peter Welfare facilities II - BAJR Host - 21st May 2006 Thats correct Peter Another day another WSI? Welfare facilities II - 1man1desk - 22nd May 2006 To address one of Mattockhead's points - IFA membership does not imply that any member will protect other members or conceal their wrongdoings. Quite the reverse - membership places an obligation on any member to report wrongdoings, while it also implies a personal commitment to ethical practice. Quite apart from ethical and disciplinary obligations, there is also a 'self-interest' reason to report wrongdoing. Any member that does know of unethical or incompetent practice by another member or by an RAO would want those issues addressed, to avoid devalueing the letters after their own name. 1man1desk to let, fully furnished Welfare facilities II - Paul Belford - 22nd May 2006 Those of us who are brick fetishists were of course simply admiring a very nice 19th century wall in Flemish Bond with vitrified headers [8D]. Welfare facilities II - BAJR Host - 22nd May 2006 True 1man ![]() and sad Mr Belford ![]() Another day another WSI? |
