The Press and Archaeology - Dinosaur - 18th January 2011 Would they last any longer on site than touch-screen phones? - which seem to have a life expectancy measurable in minutes....those big screens seem a bit delicate..... Anyone tried out the 'indestructible' JCB phone yet for site worthiness? The Press and Archaeology - BAJR - 19th January 2011 I use these things a lot as well.. BUT... It helps if the machines belong to the person... You tend to be more careful with your own see x number of cameras dropped in mud... etc.. But you very rarely drop your own! Tape measures trashed (though if you own it... it strangely survives!)
