I prefer puddings to pies, I love that horrible, stodgy pastry.
Drinks are on the house, mostly because no one is ever bothered to mop up around here!

Ooo - DA Fancy finding you in the bar...it deserves to remain open then!
Fray Bentos S&K pies are only ?1 in my local shop...I have had several this week:face-approve: Splashed out this evening and added mushy peas (sadly tinned variety) and a bottle of Dog (Newcastle Brown Ale to the uninitiated). Suddenly...it's Julie Andrews all over and things don't seem so bad...xx(

The pie was lovely (along with minty garden peas, and boiled potatos in garlic and butter). Washed down with a bottle of Old Peculiar... hope my furry arteries forgive me.

To date, that is one part of the UK cultural experience I have managed to avoid.
I feel ashamed to admit that we treated ourselves to a meal at Twice Brewed on Saturday night, the scenery made us do it!

Long b.....year :face-rain: and we are only 3 months in. Not much left in the barrel as I have been drowning my sorrows. Might share my bottle of royal wedding beer with you (the 1980 s one not next months). I have been wondering if it is still drinkable

Oooh...be careful Wax! The 1980s beer may be as contaminated as the 1980s Royal Wedding! Eek. Am I allowed to say such things or will the pro-Diana's come and get me in the night????
