Detecting A Bright Future - Dean - 31st August 2008 Funny, in all the time I've worked with you guys I've never been treated like that. I suppose it's cos I have a little respect down here for my efforts. Are there any from Worcestershire on here?? The Worcestershire department tends to (generally  ) breed enlightened open minded archaeologists who care plenty enough about what they are doing to make a step forward to us MD'ers. I have always got on with them very well, long before PAS. Its not quite the same further south though, still plenty of bad press I'm afraid, from both sides. Coming back to myself though, its not all good news. A 'personal' problem with PAS developed a few years ago and my recording (with them) suffered. Not worth getting into really. Detecting A Bright Future - BAJR Host - 31st August 2008 well I would be happy for a new section actually... its time we started to talk about the sites we are on, were on.. and let people see whats happening.. (within contractual guidelines of course! ) So righty.. new section open doors... Site Showcase. nice one Dean ... and long may the breeding continue in Worsc. I think we are finding that there are a lot of people out there who are not even 'infected' with preconceptions.. Now.. one day... it may be possible to reach all the fiddly parts.. that are the die-hards on both sides .. I'll be happy with the fence sitters to start with :0) people like Dean, (and many ohers I hasten to add) and the wors archaeologists (and many ohers I hasten to add) are the ones to convince the sitters to stand up. "I don't have an archaeological imagination.." Borekickers |
