I never recommend based on price alone, but always include some sort of quality component. The only time I have been involved in an appointment based on price alone was where I had no direct input into the selection criteria, and in that case I strongly recommended a more expensive contractor but was overruled by the client. Let's just say I was proved correct n that case.
