dessicating skeletons - tom wilson - 10th September 2008 Hello All, I was wondering whether anyone out there knew of published cases where the condition of bone lying under new developments was monitored, or was re-visited and assessed during later development. I would be interested to know whether placement of an impermeable surface necessarily causes degradation below it. It'll vary from place to place of course, but any examples would be interesting. I don't recall human remains being specifically considered, but they will probably know where to look for examples. |
