Recognising websites showing excellence in Innovation, Education, Design and Content in Archaeology and Heritage.? think about them in terms of: Content, Useability, Design, Educational Resource. Frameworks T5 website. http://www.framearch.co.uk/t5/ Lockton and Levisham http://www.locktonlevisham.co.uk/default.asp a nice village website that introduces people to the area, is active and provides info on walks, about their archive... etc "I don't have an archaeological imagination.." Borekickers Next Web Award - andy.bicket - 29th October 2008 http://www.silchester.rdg.ac.uk/home Explore the UK's (2nd) biggest archaeological excavation Everything you'd want to know about this project, research, outreach, field school etc, etc, etc. Plus it is the gateway for remote researchers to work on the site, keeping up with current innovation is written into the project brief, I believe. Well laid out, clear texts and open for all archaeological audiences; novice to expert.
