Archaeology Podcast - new records - BAJR Host - 5th November 2008 Glad to announce that BAJR-Stonepages Archaeology News - mastered by Dave Horrocks has broken a record, with over 16,000 downloads of the mp3 every week - in addition to the 70,000 that either listen to it online or read the news! Thats a whopping 86,000+ people. And all for free. Diego at Stonepages (in Italy) sends BAJR (Scotland) the news, and I re-edit for broadcast and then produce a wav file, which I send to Dave Horrocks (Canada) who remasters it at his professional studio, and then sends it back to Diego (Italy) every week (apart from a few times when I am so remote I can't record it... It has been going since 2005 .. and we have recorded circa 350 hours of podcast. It is so much fun to do this... and a real boost to know that it has become popular across the world... I do have to practice my pronunciations though. For Xmas, I will be producing an out-take extra. So you can laugh out loud as I fluff just about everything.
