Community Archaeology Conference - BAJR Host - 17th May 2009 Absolutley brilliant time.. though I spent half my time selling trowels.. [:I] it was great to meet some brilliant people telling thier stories of how archaeology changed the communityies.. and how they took control of their own projects.. watch out for some cracking stuff later... ps... big hello to lolabun and Cait brilliant to meet you... a bit of a thrill to meet BAJRites face to face.. :face-approve: cool! there was so much... you will just have to wait for the full report! Niccolo Machiavelli Community Archaeology Conference - Lolabun - 18th May 2009 I too had a BRILLIANT time at the conference - was so interesting and had fantastic information and guidance for anyone wanting to start up their own community group. The break out sessions/workshops were partically interesting - the 'onsite interpretation' workshop genreated some interesting discussion - people debating what worked and what didnt.
