Applying for grants - archgirl19 - 11th July 2009 Not sure where on the forum to put this and apologies if I have posted this and there is indeed an obvious list available! I'm trying to find sources of funding that a community archaeology group or local history society could apply to as part of a project? I'm assisting with putting together a bid for some English Heritage money but it wouldn't cover 100% of the project so I'm trying to identify additional sources of money. The project will involve surveying unregistered parks and gardens and non-listed historic buildings. We're thinking of approaching the National Garden Society for example, as well as parish/town councils. Anyone got any other ideas? All assistance gratefully received and am happy to provide additional information if required. Applying for grants - achingknees - 15th July 2009 Heritage Lottery Fund.
