More to with animal bones than human waste, though... Very topical - Druids and Stonehenge - oldgirl - 24th July 2009 So, are we thinking that the stones were placed to mark the toilets? Would make some sense if people were coming from a long way off and diidn't have the benefit of glasses.... [:p] Very topical - Druids and Stonehenge - Curator Kid - 24th July 2009 Quote:quote:Originally posted by oldgirl Maybe they needed a really big marker to guide the way so they didn't get lost whilst staggering tired and emotional from that massive beano at Durrington Walls that Mike Parker-Pearson found a couple of years ago? :face-huh: Very topical - Druids and Stonehenge - the invisible man - 24th July 2009 Nonsense. The trilothons are quite clearly goals. Very topical - Druids and Stonehenge - Gog - 24th July 2009 Rural Wiltshire? Croquet hoops, surely. Big ones for use with those giant balls that keep following Indiana Jones around. |
