strange terminology - achingknees - 23rd September 2005 Mmmm...just reading an 'ology report where they describe having to 'poodle' for hidden/buried archaeology with sondages. new one on me. any light on that. For that matter any other weird words just used by the profession? strange terminology - Mole - 23rd September 2005 I have a manager who describes digging of any kind as 'firtilling for finds' strange terminology - Sith - 23rd September 2005 Poodle is a new one on me. Was the author suggesting that the excavator had investigated the feature in the manner of a small dog seeking out a tasty snack?
