Unisex Uniforms - BAJR - 5th April 2010 Think about it... when you see a farm worker... they all wear the same sort of clothes... when you see mechanics... they... wear the same sort of clothes etc... well why not archaeologists? Should we all adopt a simple unisex garment that says... I work as an archaeologist? Here is my suggestion... indeed I am now thinking of buying pair! and you can get waterproof ones, thermal ones etc... Hmmmm... just musing! These are my fave... (I hope he has not just got a tiny head!) more here: http://uk.dungarees-online.com/ Unisex Uniforms - Dinosaur - 5th April 2010 But we've all spent the weekend ordering high-vis kilts! Unisex Uniforms - BAJR - 5th April 2010 we are all going to have to re-order to look like this Unisex Uniforms - BAJR - 5th April 2010 though some organisations would prefer this though tricky in the portaloo.. there is protection and a rather neat look Unisex Uniforms - kevin wooldridge - 6th April 2010 I will find you a photo of the unisex overalls we wear in Norway..... Unisex Uniforms - BAJR - 6th April 2010 Thats exactly the look I feel we should be aiming for. I was recently down in York on a visit to the top site.. Hungate. In the middle of the freezing site were two visiting archaeologists on a busmans holiday... I immediately knew they were from a Scandanavian country... as they were in the very workwear above. Looks professional... looks suitable for purpose... looks comfy and waterproof... what sort of company sells these? Unisex Uniforms - BAJR - 6th April 2010 http://www.suresafe.co.uk/bridgewater-suit-p-1492.html and this http://www.suresafe.co.uk/en471-contrast-bib-brace-p-823.html Unisex Uniforms - BAJR - 6th April 2010 Looks like we may have a quality solution.. ( I know Kevin will nod here!) http://www.hellyhansen-workwear.com/size-guide.php Seems they are sensible enough to cater for all shapes and sizes.. so this item... http://www.hellyhansen-workwear.com/buy-online/high-visibility-poly-cotton/bridgewater-high-visibility-knee-pad-pant/0/ Comes in a large range of leg to waist size... for example. Good selection and the price ain't bad either EUROPE REGULAR C44 C46 C48 C50 C52 C54 C56 C58 C60 C62 C64 Chest Cm 88 92 96 100 104 108 112 116 120 124 128 Inches 34.5 36 37.5 39 41 42.5 44 45.5 47 48.5 50 Waist Cm 76 80 84 88 92 96 100 104 108 112 116 Inches 30 31.5 33 34.5 36 38 39.5 41 42.5 44 45.5 Hips Cm 94 98 102 106 110 114 118 122 126 130 134 Inches 37 38.5 40 41.5 43 45 46 48 49.5 51 52.5 Inside Leg Length Cm 78 80 81 82 83 84 85 86 87 88 89 Inches 30.5 31.5 32 32 32.5 33 33.5 34 34 34.5 35 Body Height Cm 164- 170 170- 176 176- 182 176- 182 182- 188 182- 188 188- 194 188- 194 188- 194 188- 194 188- 194 Inches 64.5- 66.5 66.5 69 69- 71.5 69- 71.5 71.5- 74 71.5- 74 74- 76 74- 76 74- 76 74- 76 74- 76 EUROPE TALL C144 C146 C148 C150 C152 C154 C156 C158 C160 C162 C164 Inside Leg Length Cm 83 85 86 87 88 89 90 91 92 93 94 Inches 32.5 33.5 34 34 34.5 35 35 35.5 36 36.5 37 Body Height Cm 169- 175 175- 181 181- 187 181- 187 187- 193 187- 193 193- 199 193- 199 193- 199 193- 199 193- 199 Inches 66- 68.5 68.5- 71 71- 73.5 71- 73.5 73.5- 75.5 73.5- 75.5 75.5- 78 75.5- 78 75.5- 78 75.5- 78 75.5- 78 Unisex Uniforms - BuntyFlint - 6th April 2010 I'm loving those dungarees in the first post...with a nice aertex shirt, hand knitted cardi and turban (jammed under the hard hat) could do a lovely impression of a landgirl on site......
