Think about it... when you see a farm worker... they all wear the same sort of clothes... when you see mechanics... they... wear the same sort of clothes etc... well why not archaeologists? Should we all adopt a simple unisex garment that says... I work as an archaeologist?

Here is my suggestion... indeed I am now thinking of buying pair!

and you can get waterproof ones, thermal ones etc...

Thats exactly the look I feel we should be aiming for. I was recently down in York on a visit to the top site.. Hungate. In the middle of the freezing site were two visiting archaeologists on a busmans holiday... I immediately knew they were from a Scandanavian country... as they were in the very workwear above.
