An introduction to dealing with Iron Slag on archaeological sites. - BAJR - 14th July 2010 http://www.scribd.com/doc/34329374/HMS-Iron-Slag-Guidance the Archaeology Committee of the Historical Metallurgy Society has decided to revise the whole set of Datasheets, which they hope to complete in the autumn. In the meantime, they have produced this - an introduction to dealing with Iron Slag on archaeological sites. This is very much aimed at field people and other BAJR regulars, and is deliberately in a two-sided format so that it can be printed out and laminated for use on site.
