A real value to archaeology - BAJR - 18th July 2010 Businesses on the Orkney island of Westray are enjoying an economic boom, thanks to publicity surrounding the discovery of an ancient artefact. Some have reported a 45% increase in their takings since the Orkney Venus figurine, known as the Westray Wife, was found at the Links of Noltland and taken on a travelling exhibition around Scotland.
