The latest giggle in the site hut is producing an archaeological rhyming slang. Juvenile? Probably. Potentially offensive? No doubt. Entertaining nonetheless.....

1. Maes Howe...cow. As in a field full of milkers or a particularly offensive individual.
2. Wetwang Slack....smack. As in a right Maes Howe in need of a right good Wetwang.
3. Fussels Lodge...Bodge. As in a practitioner interpreting professional standards with artistic license.
4. Mount Pleasant...peasant. "Good grief Rupert-this site is staffed almost entirely with smelly Mount Pleasants! Call the IFA!"
5. Newgrange...strange. As in " Not sure what some oik has left in the site tardis-smells a bit Newgrange!"
6. Sutton Hoo....As in what usually is left in the site tardis or " Just off for a Sutton..."
7. Figsbury Ring....As in " good curry last night-Figsbury like the eye of Sauron this morning!"
8. Skara Brae.... travellers on "the other bus"
9. Primary Fill... Ill. As in " heavy sesh last night boss...feeling distinctly primary this morning"
10. Scale...Ale. As in " metre scale anyone?"

Any more anyone? Here`s the one I`m likely to be hammered for....
11. Durrington Walls... As in the vulnerable dangly boy bits " itchy Durringtons..."

Love it! makes me smile... out site hut seems to be on about training monkeys to shoot Wink and then assassinating a president. I love it when talk is surreal. Then again, we are also learning about Roman cremation practives in Northern Frontier PRovices in the 2nd century.. Very stop learning and making up silly rhymes! Big Grin
