Bit of a giggle... - troll - 8th September 2010 The latest giggle in the site hut is producing an archaeological rhyming slang. Juvenile? Probably. Potentially offensive? No doubt. Entertaining nonetheless..... 1. Maes Howe...cow. As in a field full of milkers or a particularly offensive individual. 2. Wetwang Slack....smack. As in a right Maes Howe in need of a right good Wetwang. 3. Fussels Lodge...Bodge. As in a practitioner interpreting professional standards with artistic license. 4. Mount Pleasant...peasant. "Good grief Rupert-this site is staffed almost entirely with smelly Mount Pleasants! Call the IFA!" 5. Newgrange...strange. As in " Not sure what some oik has left in the site tardis-smells a bit Newgrange!" 6. Sutton Hoo....As in what usually is left in the site tardis or " Just off for a Sutton..." 7. Figsbury Ring....As in " good curry last night-Figsbury like the eye of Sauron this morning!" 8. Skara Brae.... travellers on "the other bus" 9. Primary Fill... Ill.
