With all this interesting talk on the forum about sampling strategies, letters to the times, and the fluctuating price of chips, Bajrites might be unaware of a major grass roots archaeological movement currently taking the interwebs by storm. And, what?s more, it?s an archaeological movement Mortimer would almost certainly approve of.
Introducing? Shag an Archaeologist Day 2011!
?Shag an Archaeologist Day 2011? is an online project to help convince the general public to have sex with an archaeologist on Saturday July 23rd 2011. This date coincides with the Festival of British Archaeology, which runs from 16th ? 31st July 2011.
The Project is a meaningful attempt to improve the average archaeologist?s lot in life ? one shag at a time. Archaeologists taking part will document their shag through photographs, videos and written blog posts. These will then be collected on a special facebook page, which will provide a glimpse into the sex lives of people working in archaeology, from archaeological excavations to laboratories, universities, community archaeology groups, education services, museums and offices.
Check out diggingthedirt.com to find out how it all began, how to get involved, and last but by no means least: merchandise!

Dunno, but my husband said that I was only allowed to support the concept in principle, not practice.

Already provided five of those between myself, the spousal unit and various ex-spousal units so practice is not what I need. Peace and quiet, perhaps.
