Dales Heritage Field School 2012 (affordable Field School) - BAJR - 20th March 2012

Dales Heritage Field School 2012:

Ongoing investigation of a late prehistoric/Romano-British settlement
and field system in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, this year
investigating evidence for metalworking.

Training provided in earthwork survey, geophysics and excavation, no
previous experience necessary.

Location: between Threshfield and Kilnsey, Upper Wharfedale, North
Yorkshire SD 975653.

Dates: Sunday July 8th ? Friday July 20th.

Arrangements will be made for students requiring longer for
accreditation, please get in touch.

Cost: minimum booking (3 days) ?15 per day (excavation only).

There are several campsites in the area, and a Youth Hostel in
Kettlewell.
