In my experience you don't have to go to the other side of the world to practice Australian Archaeological methods, you do it much closer to home, I gained certificates of competency in the Australian Archaeological methods that you depict in your photograph at Broughty Ferry (just outside Dundee, Scotland) almost 30 years ago, although competent - my experience was limited to the reach of the digger arm and bucket.
