adobe acrobat - troll - 12th March 2007 Am currently digitising oodles of plans and storing them on Acrobat. As I am particularly blonde today-how does one group them together in files? Many thanks to all ..knowledge without action is insanity and action without knowledge is vanity..(imam ghazali,ayyuhal-walad) adobe acrobat - drpeterwardle - 12th March 2007 Troll, I guess you are using Coreldraw in which case put each drawing on a different page. I would not rely on acrobat for archiving as the quality of the plan will dip. Peter adobe acrobat - BAJR Host - 12th March 2007 Yup Pete It can depend on how you store the final acrobat file. (from press quality to web quality) and what you are storing (vector is fine but should not be only archive - but more for text.. images.... nope ) Archive standards at the moment are (so pdf is a recognised format) as long as you are using Acrobat Pro. in which case it is as simple as opening up the left hand side panel and viewing pages.. then opening up each extra pdf and dragging its litle page into the right place... OR use the make pdf -> from files and select all the files you want to bind/merge together. Databases Delimited ASCII, Fixed width ASCII SQL definitions and setups,Access, Dbase FoxPro, Paradox Images TIF BMP Vector files DXF, SHP, EPSE00, DWG Texts ASCII, SGML RTF, HTML, PDF "No job worth doing was ever done on time or under budget.." Khufu adobe acrobat - troll - 13th March 2007 Superb! Many thanks to you both gentlemen! There was a point there when I thought about brass-rubbing the plans at 1:1 wiv a crayon and goin home.... ..knowledge without action is insanity and action without knowledge is vanity..(imam ghazali,ayyuhal-walad) |
