Archaeology and its Media - BAJR - 4th July 2013 Prof. Dr. Annetta Alexandridis is serving as Guest Editor for a special issue of the online, open access journal, Arts (http://mdpi.com/journal/arts) about " Archaeology and its Media " (http://www.mdpi.com/journal/arts/special_issues/archaeology_media). The special issue is interested in the interplay of archaeology and these media, the scientific and socio-political agendas at play in archaeological research, and the impact of different media on knowledge production from an aesthetic, epistemic and cognitive point of view. Articles may focus on historical or contemporary phenomena.
