The TA will be covering Kenny Aitchison?s next survey of its latest effects on employment in archaeology, and I am hoping other groups (such as the Diggers Forum, commercial archaeological organisations, FAME and ALGAO) will give voice to their special concerns. Hopefully this will include measures to overcome problems as well as helping us appreciate just how serious they are.
WELL? anyone care to open the bidding on a 200 word article looking at what we have been discussing here?
They are also looking for a 200 word case study relating to the Pagan / Burial .. cough... debate... and as there has been plenty on here, then this may be a good place for a case study
All has to be done by 1st May...
I am also happy to write a bit about the 100+ who replied to the previous and current BAJR questionnaire ... and present what Dr. P came up with, including the latest results... I am sure the IfA will be happy to include these additional repeatable results.
So any takers?

Quote:quote:Treatment of human remains is still an issue upon which we await the Ministry of Justice?s rulings and upon which feelings are running high, as archaeologists seek to maintain the moral high ground under criticism from Pagan groups. The best counter to this criticism is evidence for the fruits of archaeological research, so case histories for this will be very welcome.
As ever, it is good to have a mix of case histories, policies, opinions and comment, with the emphasis on informing our colleagues of matters of mutual interest. Good illustrations are a vital part of this. There should be approximately one per 200 words, with captions and credits.
