Have now received said nails and will test them at work on monday.
When you said they were lightweight i didn't expect them to weigh less than a wrens feather!!!! I actually bit one in the pub to make sure it was metal!! though i'm sure my manicurist would not aprove of me 'biting my nails'.

Have been using said nails this week and can say they are definately an improvement on ordinary 6" nails-everyone I show them to is surprised by the weight (or lack off),they certainly give better grip in sections being ribbed and that extra inch is an advantage in softer soils where you don't want to use a full size grid pin.
