I'm quite disgusted to learn that these are students stealing your research Mr.Hosty. When I was at Uni (last year) plagirism was drilled into us, my classmates and I were terrified! I knew somebody who was removed from uni because of it- they knew the risks, so they got what was coming to them in my opinion(they were stupid enough to think they could get away with it and because of this they lost their degree).

All Unis have literature on plagirism, so it maybe worth searching the offending students uni website. And all students are made very aware of this rule, so they should have no excuse.

And this is the sad thing, that rather than apologise and deal with it, like grown ups (gawd knows I have apologised a few times in my life) they are now willing to place their degrees, their website, and any chance of respect in archaeology on the line.

Sadly, I have had no reply from them, and so

in the words of a famous guy... as of Sunday 23rd August 2009 a state of public and private action will be declared.

Well, I have been fair and patient with them. and so far not even a reply, only an attempt to cover the copyright theft. What more can I do?

I really wish they would see sense... they are probably hoping I will drop it, but I have a list of people to call on Monday.
