If this site were "The Great Escape" which character would you like to be?
For instance Mr Hosty would have to be Big X (in charge of the escape commitee).
But who would you be??

havent seen in it in a long while so cant think of that many characters but have come to the following conclusions.
the cooler king/steve mcqueen - i wish, but no lets be realistic i may be good with a barrow but i cant ride a bike
the tunnel king/charles bronson - dont want to do that much digging anymore
the forger/donald pleasance - i like to be able to see what i'm digging - saves me mattocking off my toes
So if everybody else wants to choose their role, can i volunteer to be the one who doesnt get shot?

One well known digger took it into his head to whistle the Great Escape theme and fiddle furiously with his trouser pocket everytime he wandered past the 'supervisory' gulag, ceasing in mid-whistle once he has passed out of immediate sniffing distance. None of the supervisors ever queried where the small piles of soil next to their table kept mysteriously appearing from...

Talking of the Donald Pleasance character. I have been on sites many times where comments of 'take me with you, I can see perfectly' were used in reference to the site director's ability to draw lines around non-existant features and then insist on their excavation.
