This new system has many different aspects to it from the original Forum.
Yes you can still chat away here or debate issues, however, the new beating hearts are the groups that allow people with shared interests to talk and share. IT also means that information gathered is no longer lost in the depths of a forum. How many times have we heard the words, I am sure somebody said it here before.! but where.??
The 'Page' system allows thoughts to be gathered (and re-edited) by group members, collecting and sharing data.
For example - the Community Group - message board

They have started to collect grants - and want people who know about them to join and add, OR join and see what is available. Useful to share and useful to view. We can all add to this, if you are a member of this group AND to view the page with these grants you must also be a member. So what's stopping you?

Remember you must join the group to gain access... it means you are no longer just a spectator..
Federation needs you to get involved, to join, to talk, to inform... and most of all communicate. Perhaps we have spent too long with our arms wrapped round the jotter on the school desk. Lets show that archaeology is opening up!
