Should hope not! - am I'm sure it wouldn't be. However, opening the door to agency-digging may not, by that analogy, be the best way to go? If BAJR does it then I'm sure some other enterprising individual would follow...

enterprising individuals have tried to set up in competition before - what are your scared of?
If they can get you asking the wrong questions, they don't have to worry about answers

But surely 'healthy competition' is why digging wages are so s**t now?

i was refering to the attempts to set up alternative job advertising agencies. agency digging at a fair price is better for diggers and a lot less easy for unscrupulous employers, including uberunits, startups and those well known flouters of ethics to get staff to undercut respectable outfits (should any still exist).
If they can get you asking the wrong questions, they don't have to worry about answers
