Forwarding this from one of my email lists since it might be of interest to people here:
The Editors, Editorial Board and Advisory Committe of the Historic Environment: Policy and Practice (http://www.maney.co.uk/index.php/journals/hen) issue a Call for Papers for this new journal, to be published by Maneys.
We welcome papers that wish to explore all aspects of the historic environment, however that might be defined, with a view to developing new approaches and exhibiting best practice. We welcome contributions from across the globe that can bring fresh perspectives to the study of the historic environment. We particularly welcome contributions from practitioners as well as those from the academic community.
Contributions should be in the region of 3000-6000 words long, to an upper limit of 10,000 words. More detailed Notes for Authors can be supplied on request to the Editors, Roger White or Harriet Devlin (r.h.white@bham.ac.uk; h.devlin@bham.ac.uk). The Editors are always happy to discuss potential contributions in advance.
