In the last hour I have seen TV coverage of proposed Olympic sites ranging from Poole harbour/Weymouth beach, Stratford, Broxbourne, Windsor, Cardiff and Glasgow. But in the furious race to get these facilities built will archaeology see any benefit. Another Archy chat site is already suggesting that 'Heritage' could end up as one of the areas cut over the next few years to provide monies for 'Sport' development. I have already heard one commentator say that the days of the 'fat guy' are over and Britain is moving towards a a 10 year fitness campaign. So looks like the days of many of us tubbier archaeologists are numbered....[xx(]

I somehow could'nt imagine Mr Harding in a shell suit(white or otherwise) although Ms Lewis might well fit the bill!!
