BAJR fed will close for essential maintainance and revision over the festive period - Don't worry... it is only to return with a system that people are more comfortable with and a cracking new News, announcements and related articles section.

Looks more professional, slicker and easy to use.

I will be importing every post from this and the older forum, and linking to the original poster. Everyone will get an email asking them to go to the website and then get their NEW password

Thats the only thing... it was impossible to move your passwords, as they are encrypted. It takes 20 seconds to make a new one. so not too bad (for this I do apologise)

No more changes after this... just a nice simple forum and news pages. the rest is up to you.

Can I make a suggestion? At the moment it is sometimes difficult to tell the difference between a quote and the following text. Can we keep the quote facility but have it looking different?

A new password is fine, but maybe I'll go back to being Oldgirl.....

I agree with Clare. Is it possible David to have some 'text editing' facility back with the new system....?

thanks both.. and yes... text editing , bold, colour etc is back as is more 'normal' forum features

This should be taking place around the period between xmas and new year. so thre will be a three to four day down time.

while I go crazy trying to merge and splice.. but you will like the change. more what you want/are used to.
