Dear all,
Can anyone recommend a contact / best license to apply for, regarding the use of Ordnance Survey maps for commercial purposes?
Thanks in advance.

You really do need to talk to OS direct. There are so many variations and potential discounts in the system and licensing costs are based on size, type and quantity of final product. I can't imagine that any two licencees are identical. But heres a link to the range and scale of charges (I recommend you note the
minimum licence charge per publication before you say to yourself 'Gosh that's cheap!!). Hope this helps....

Yup... I am afraid it is more complicated than an MPs expenses record...
Before you contact them
collect the following information together...
How many maps will be copied... Distribution numbers of maps ... (steer well clear of saying anything about putting the pdf online!) in paper copies. the area covered in the map. THey type of map to be copied (Landline, 1:25000 Landranger etc) Kevins link is the best bet.

Ring them up, tell them what you do, I have always found them very simple to deal with.
