Not counting Christmas, Mallorca for a week in October (saw a tornado) and Provence for two weeks in July. No I don't get paid any more than most of you, and Invisible Woman only works part time (earning almost as much as me), it's all down to cunning use of the internet, going out of high season and exploiting my wife's inherent Yorkshire thriftiness... and use Eurocampy type places or a packagy hotel as a base. Err, yes, one does gravitate to looking at some Old Stuff qute a bit......

WE keep looking... then find when you add the tax, teh extra 1 kg on your baggage, the extra 5 quid for booking with a credit card...etc... it ends up at a grand to go to Malta.
SO..... and we refuse to sleep in tents... (after all, we are no longer in the mesolithic! )
My tastes for exotic will jsut have to wait

Archaeology is the peeping Tom of the sciences It is the sandbox of men who care not where they are going; they merely want to know where everyone else has been.
